Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, but as of June 2026 Shortwave’s pricing page lists no perpetual free tier — the entry point is the $24/seat Business plan on annual billing. Monthly billing is available at a higher rate.

The metering caveat matters. Shortwave caps AI requests per day by plan. Business users who lean heavily on summaries and drafts can hit the ceiling on busy weeks, at which point the assistant pauses until the next day. If AI is the reason you are switching, budget for Premier.
